ORVIA started in 2014 with two developers and one billing module. Five hundred projects later, the reason clients stay is unchanged: a written scope, a fixed price, and one person who answers the phone.
We kept getting called in to fix the same three failures.
Almost every rescue project we have taken over failed for one of three reasons. The scope was never written down, so nobody could agree what "finished" meant. There was no single owner, so the developer blamed the agency and the agency blamed the developer. Or somebody quoted a number they knew was not real, and the project ran out of budget before it ran out of work.
So we built the company to remove all three. Everything is scoped in writing before a rupee changes hands. Every project has one named manager with a direct number. And when a keyword will take eight months or a rebuild is the wrong spend, we say so — even when it means quoting less.
Today we are a team of developers, designers and SEO specialists in New Delhi, working with clients across India, the UAE, the UK, Australia and Canada. We build ERP systems, websites and search programmes — and increasingly, all three for the same client, because that is where the compounding is.
